Antarctic Centre
Christchurch is the major link to the Antarctic
Continent where the majority of flights depart for the ice. As such the
Antarctic Centre
located near the airport is the Worlds best Antarctic attraction. Here you
can 'get up close and personal with the world's smallest penguin'.

You can take a ride on the Hagglund tractor
which is one of the main forms of transport on the ice.
